Samuel L. Jackson at film premiere

Samuel L. Jackson.

Samuel Leroy Jackson (born 21 December 1948), more commonly called Samuel L. Jackson, is the voice actor in Inglourious Basterds, serving as the Narrator for one scene in Chapter Two where he explains Hugo Stiglitz's fame and one in Chapter Three, where he explains the dangers of nitrate film prints, and Shosanna's film collection.

Samuel L. Jackson has appeared in 6 of Quentin Tarantino's films: Pulp Fiction (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), Kill Bill vol. II (2004), Inglourious Basterds (2009), Django Unchained (2012) and The Hateful Eight (2015). I all of his appearances, Jackson has at least one memorable moment or line (of course, this is not something limited to Tarantino's films).

Samuel L. Jackson has often defended Tarantino for many of the controversies that the director was involved in, like the use of the "N" word in many of his films.
