“For me a cup of espresso”
Hans Landa

Espresso is a concentrated beverage brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water under pressure through finely ground coffee beans.

In Inglourious Basterds

Hans Landa orders an espresso for himself at the Chez Maurice. He sweetens it by adding two teaspoons of sugar. However he is not seen drinking from it.

Trivia

  • The espresso is changing positions on the table, between shots.
    • When the espresso is first seen on the tray, the waiter is seen putting the glass of milk on the table. In the next shot, when Landa excuses himself for not ordering the cream, the waiter is withdrawing his hand, but the espresso is no longer on the tray.
