Chapter Three - GERMAN NIGHT IN PARIS[]
When col. Hans Landa and Shosanna are served their strudels in the Chez Maurice restaurant, Landa excuses himself for not ordering the cream and asks Shosanna to wait for it. After both strudels are topped with the whipped cream by the waiter, Landa tells Shosanna she can eat the strudel. Shosanna takes a bite out of the strudel, and Landa asks her if the food was good, to which she nods in approval. Landa continues to eat from the strudel, while Shosanna doesn't take another bite and just fiddles with it. Just before leaving, Landa extinguishes his cigarette in the strudel cream.
