When Landa arrives here, he oficiialy surrenders to Aldo Raine and Smithson Utivich in order to reach the Allied lines safely, but the two have other plans.

- Just like in Chapter Two, the swastika scarring takes place in a wood.
- While there are pine trees in several areas of Normandy, like Pays d'Auge, the forest of Evreux (Upper Normandy), no pine tree forests like those in the film exist in Normandy.
